Natasha’s family has found a flat
On Monday August 16th, Natasha, Rosa and Liocha moved into their 1 room flat, that Galina (Galya) managed to find for them.

It has not been easy, but Galya was able to organize official registration of Natasha with her new born child Rosa and to find a nice little flat not far from Natasha’s school. moreA baby is born

Today July 13th around 9 o’clock in the morngin in the city of Lyubotyn, Natasha gave birth to Rosa, 2.9 kg and 53 centimeters. Mother and daughter are doing well, although suffering from heatwave in Eastern Ukraine. Rosa is Cancer and is born on the year of the Tiger (chinese zodiacal sign).
We wish her and her parents all the best and are very proud to be her godparents. Only to a little extent of course 😉Les Amis de Svieta is celebrating its 10th anniversary (sold out)

Natasha’s family
On May 21st Pascal and Vika visited the sponsorship program at Zeleniy Gay boarding school for teenagers and were introduced to Natasha (Nataliya Yulievna), a 17 year old student, learning floristic skills. As it happens in life, Natasha is pregnant from Liocha (Alexey Evgenievych) and will give birth to a baby girl soon.

For more than 5 years now, Pascal has received each year a parcel with a nice card and a custom made doll with many different garments made by the dolls Godmother: Verena.

On Mai 25th Hanneke, Vika, Pascal and Tom visited Olga at her school in Kakhovka – by car almost two hours away from Nikolaiev. Olga was expecting us and showed us her room. She had her monthly accounts including receipts ready for us.
Sponsoring at Zeleniy Gay boarding school
We have started to participate in a sponsorship program at Zeleniy Gay boarding school for teenagers that need a professional education, after they leave state sponsored boarding school.
Results of web site survey
We have a total of 17 participants to this survey, of which 3 English speaking participants have finished all questions (138 visitors have started but not finished the questionnaire – was it too long or too difficult 😮 ).

All English speaking participants have adopted children, have been visiting the site for more than 1 year, 2 out of 3 have donated to Svieta and 2 out of 3 rate the web site as excellent and 2 rates the site as good.
French svieta.org
All 6 French speaking participants have children, 5 have adopted children and all 6 have been visiting the site for more than 1 year, 3 out of 6 have donated to Svieta and we have 2 excellent and 3 good ratings for the site.
German svieta.org
8 German speaking participants have completed the survey, 6 have children and only one German speaking family has adopted a child. All 8 have been visiting the site for a year or longer and they rate the site as good or excellent. 7 out of 8 German speaking survey participants have donated in the past.

🙂Emergency roof repair in Makiivka
Since we realized together with LAdS France the outdoor playgrounds at Makiivka orphanage, their management now knows they could count on us in case they experience urgent problems. That’s exactly what they did last week, when they realized that water was leaking through the laundry building’s roof.
