The team of LAdS Ukraine

You might not know the Team of ‘Les Amis de Svieta’ (LAdS) in Ukraine, as you didn’t take the time to search the archive on our web site.

Vika is based in Nikolaiev. She is married and has a 13 years old son. She is part of LAdS since the formation in 2000 and directs all our projects in Ukraine (planning, personnel, finances, logistics, etc…).
She excels at establishing confidence relations with local partners and engages personally for the success of our various projects. Her energy, her availability and her humor make her a very invaluable collaborator for LAdS.

Galina is based in Kharkov. She joined LAdS in 2003 by making contact by Internet after having fallen, by chance, on our first Web pages. She acts as Vika’s deputy in activities located in her area. Her perseverance and her enthusiasm with the difficult task of the first project convinced us to full integrate her into the team and we certainly do not regret it.
These two ladies do not make of course all alone, they call upon other local support. But they spearhead our activites in Ukraine and have our (and your) confidence. They also deserve your confidence, since they are the last link in the chain. They spend your donations by making sure that it is done according to the rules and to the philosophy as defined by LAdS.
They do not get fixed salaries, but we compensate them on a case-by-case basis, according to the tasks carried out and we cover the expenses when they “work” for us (both of them have also a professional life and they work in their spare time for LAdS).

We thank Vika and Galina for their dedication for LAdS and all that they have already carried out for and with us. We hope that they will continue for many more years… 😉
