  1. Vika took a train to Kiev with Artem and Nastya

    Vika and the two babies traveled to Kiev, accompagnied by two nurses. The babies needed to be examined in KCC (Kiev Cardio Center).
    The trip went well, everything went smoothly, despite the current turmoil in Ukraine.

    Artem was accepted by hospital and he will undergo surgery in the near future. Nastya returned with Vika and with the nurse to Nikolaiev. more

    We are glad to let you know that the “New therapy rook project at NBH” is completed. Physical rehabilitation lessons of children suffering from cerebral palsy has started.

  5. New therapy room project for NBH has started

    Updated news here!
    At the moment there are 135 children at NBH; 90% of them have affection of central nervous system, or musculoskeletal system, or hearing and sight, or inborn and hereditary disabilities of different levels; 40% of those children suffer additionally from cerebral palsy. more

  6. Flu Vaccine for NBH 2013

    It has already become a good tradition that in autumn our friends and sponsors Helen and Jim Smith buy anti-flu vaccine and anti-virus medicaments for the children of NBH.
    This year has not become an exception and NBH was provided with the necessary amounts of vaccine and medics in the beginning of the cold season.

  7. Karina went to Kharkov

    In the middle of September 2013 Karina went to Kharkov again for her third operation. This time, exactly as it had been planned, both hands were operated. The doctors managed to separate both little fingers and now the girl has three on each hand. more

  8. Masha needed heart surgery

    Masha came to the NBH right after her birth and immediately became everybody’s favorite. No wonder! She is a real angel. Unfortunately the girl had inborn heart disease and urgently needed serious treatment.

    In the beginning of October we organized her trip to Kiev; after having passed all necessary tests and consultations Masha was left at the hospital (KCC, Kiev Cardio Center). more

  9. Hygiene Products for NBH Personal

    NBH always requires large amounts of hygiene products!
    For over two years, a friend from Germany is sending these products to Nikolaiev on a monthly bases.

    The set includes: single use medical gloves of different sizes, face masks, hand and surface disinfection, single use plastic aprons and single use bed diapers. more

  10. Vadim’s story

    Vadim was refused by his mother right after birth because of his disease: cleft palate and cleft upper lip.
    Thus he was taken to NBH and and Les Amis de Svieta decided to help him and organize needed operations.
