New collaboration with the association “an Orphan’s Bright Star “

We are happy to announce our new collaboration with the humanitarian help association “an Orphan’s Bright Star” (OBS).

It is with great pleasure that we can announce, that we started at the beginning of October a close collaboration with “an Orphan’s Bright Star”, an American humanitarian help association for Ukrainian orphans.
OBS was founded this year by persons already having a long experience of helping Ukrainian orphanages, but which want to collaborate more closely with other organisms. There is actually a multitude of small active organizations for one or the other orphanage in Ukraine. All accomplish, or accomplished, projects of any sizes and with more or less success. But it is always difficult to build up collaboration and to realize projects efficiently and to keep down, nevertheless, the costs for infrastructure and communication on site. OBS adopts the same philosophy as LAdS and we agreed to share the same resources in Ukraine to augment the effectiveness of our projects.
OBS is active in the orphanage of Chinadievo, in the Baby Houses of Dniepropetrovsk, Kremenchuk, Svalyava and Zhytomyr as well as in Zhytomyr ‘school internat’ (boarding school).
Our first collaboration is the sale of Christmas cards and we visited during the September-October trip orphanages in Zhytomyr and in Kremenchuk in the name of OBS.
We are delighted with this collaboration and sure that it can only benefit as well in OBS as in LAdS. Because it is well known: “together we are strong”!
