Trip to Kiev

Vika travelled with 3 kids to Kiev, on the Sunday evening night train, accompagnied by 3 nurses.

This is the second trip for Anastasiya to Kiev’s Cardio center (KCC). She passed all the examinations earlier this spring and her operation has been scheduled for autumn 2014. Nataliya and Max are on their first trip to KCC.

We all hope these 3 children will be accepted by the hospital (as it was planned) and will very soon come back home to NBH, after the operations.

We will keep you informed on further progress of these operations.

Update September 18th, 2014
The trip to Kiev went smoothly. In the morning all three children were at KCC, the best cardio center of Ukraine.

After passing thorough examinations it was decided that Anastasiya stays for her operation, while Nataliya and Max go back home to NBH to gain weight and get ready for the operations in about 6 monthes.

After the hospital, children and nurses could enjoy a short break at our “home” in Kiev before they all took the night train back to Nikolaev.

Update October 3rd, 2014
We are glad to inform you that Anastasiya is back home (at NBH) after her successful operation and treatment in Kiev’s Cardio Center. Anastasiya and her nurse travelled by train from Kiev to Nikolaiev.

The post operation period has run smoothly. The child’s life is out of danger!
